DVD X SHOW by 321 Studios - Reviewed 2/15/05
Having tried a number of digital photo software programs only to be disapointed I half heartedly started the DVD X Show software - I suspected that it did have potential; as all of 321 Studios DVD related software programs I'd tried to date had only amazed me and once again THEY HAVE DONE IT!!
Wow - this digital photo album software is Awesome!
From start to finish things have been flawless... I downloaded the program, installed, and was off and running... it was very easy to install and literally within minutes I was creating a very cool slideshow/movie of my two girls. In less than 30 minutes I had created what would soon be a birthday present for my wife...
It's so easy to use!
You simply start the software, locate your photos on your PC and it loads them into the program. You can place the digital pictures in the order you want them to appear in the show and then comes the fun part - you can pan and zoom in and out of photos, set the time for the transition from picture to picture, as well as how the transition is going to be, fade in and out, slide in from the side, etc...
You can even add music to your photo collection!!
I added one of the songs from the Lord of the Rings soundtrack in with the digital pictures of the kids and wow; I simply can't express how cool the results were!
You can preview your creation in the window on the right hand side of the screen and when you're ready... with about two clicks you're burning it to a blank DVD disk - and you've made a movie!
This is TRULY one digital photo software that everyone with a digital camera should have and I see its applications as practically without limit... personal and family photos, uses in business, and for professional photographers!
